Someone is delivering fatal justice in Cheakamus, B.C. He has anointed himself as Karma’s Helper, delivering justice where it’s long overdue.

Townspeople see these accidents as random acts of fate. But P.I. Gabe Gabrieli believes the truth is more sinister. He recognizes the pattern—a killer’s signature hidden in plain sight—and studies the threads connecting the victims, searching for a common link.

Soon the Helper learns Gabe is on his trail. The hunter, now hunted, adds Gabe’s teenaged brother Jack to his list of targets.

When Gabe identifies the killer, he understands the motive: retribution for a decades-old injustice. But that revelation ignites a terrifying urgency. The killer isn’t finished. Gabe races to find Karma’s Helper before Jack unknowingly walks into an ambush and the unthinkable happens.
